Pothia
The picturesque town of Pothia is the capital town of the island of Kalymnos and is built like an amphitheatre around its port.

Emporios
The very quiet and beautiful bay of Emporios, has a very clean beach with many restaurants and tavernas ready to serve fresh fish and other local foods.

Platy Gialos
On the mid west side of the island, the cleanest beach you will ever seen, with clean dark and shining volcanic sand (that does not stick into your skin), Platy Gialos is very famous between the locals.

Vathis
Vathis is a wonderful green valley just 12 km from Pothia. The village has been liveable from neolithic age and has ruins of Hellenic, Byzantine and Roman times. The port of Vathis is also very good place for yachts to moor with a perfect shelter from the wind.

Kantouni and Linaria
These picturesque resorts are located on the Mid - West side of Kalymnos. They are part of the 'Brosta' region of the island and they both are quaint Greek villages. Kantouni beach is renown to be the most beautiful on the island.

Masouri
This village is located opposite the island of Telendos and it is a lively tourist resort. It is considered to be the most developed area of the island, which also makes it one of the most popular holiday destinations.

On the west side of the island we meet the village of Myrties which is named after the numerous myrtle trees ( Myrties, in Greek ) that thrive in that area. It is a popular tourist resort.
